Rule 1	1 count	Violation of any law or ordinance. Count 1 On or about 04 May 2000, before the Iowa District Court, the Honorable Thomas W. Mott presiding, Police Officer Sobotta did commit perjury in violation of the Iowa Code, Section 720-2, to wit: while under oath or affirmation in a trial, Police Officer Sobotta did knowingly make false statements of material facts and/or did falsely deny knowledge of material facts about his presence as a passenger in a car driven by Lieutenant Constantine Verre in Jasper County, Iowa on January 10, 2000 during a traffic stop and did knowingly make false statements about other material facts directly related to the traffic stop.
