Norberto Rodriguez

On October 17, 1997, at approximately 1850 hours, while in the vicinity of 7240 S. Mozart, Police Officer Rodriguez, while off duty, did unnecessarily and unlawfully display and discharge his firearm, resulting in a gunshot wound to his wife, Irma Rodriguez, during a domestic dispute.

On October 17, 1997, at approximately 1850 hours, while in the vicinity of 7240 S. Mozart, Police Officer Rodriguez, while off duty, did engage in an unjustified verbal altercation with his wife, Irma Rodriguez, by threatening to kill her during a domestic altercation.

On October 17, 1997, at approximately 1850 hours, while in the vicinity of 7240 S. Mozart, Police Officer Rodriguez, while off duty, did unnecessarily display and discharge his firearm, resulting in a gunshot wound to his wife, irma Rodriguez, during a domestic dispute.

On October 17, 1997, at approximately 1850 hours, while in the vicinity of 7240 S. Mozart, Police Officer Rodriguez, while off duty, discharged his firearm and failed to provide Department members with information and assistance regarding the circumstances surrounding the discharge of his weapon, resulting in a gunshot wound to his wife, Irma Rodriguez, thereby failing to follow the provisions of General Order 85-1, Section V(A) (6).

On October 17, 1997, at approximately 1850 hours, while in the vicinity of 7240 S. Mozart, Police Officer Rodriguez, while off duty, discharged his firearm and failed to submit a firearm use report, thereby failing to follow the provisions of General Order 85-1, Section V(A) (5).

On October 17, 1997, at approximately 1850 hours, while in the vicinity of 7240 S. Mozart, Police Officer Rodriguez, while off duty, discharged his weapon resulting in a gunshot wound to his wife, Irma Rodriguez, and left the scene without rendering medical aid or assistance to Mrs. Rodriguez, thereby failing to follow the provisions of General Order 85-1, Section V(A) (4) (a).

On October 17, 1997, at approximately 1850 hours, while in General Order 85-1, Section V(A)(1).

On October 17, 1997, at approximately 1850 hours, while in the vicinity of 7240 S. Mozart, Police Officer Rodriguez, while off duty, discharged his firearm and failed to immediately notify the Communications Operation Section and the desk sergeant in the district of occurrence, thereby failing to follow the provisions of General Order 85-1, Section V(A)(1).

On October 17, 1997, at approximately 1850 hours, while in the vicinity of 7240 S. Mozart, Police Officer Rodriguez, after shooting his wife, left the scene of the incident and resisted the efforts of security officers John Fritz and Jeff Gill and Chicago Police Officers Maureen Griffin and Eugene Hoffman, to place him under arrest.

On October 17, 1997, at approximately 1850 hours, while in the vicinity of 7240 S. Mozart, Police Officer Rodriguez, while off duty, did unnecessarily display and discharge his firearm, resulting in a gunshot wound to his wife, Irma Rodriguez.

On October 17, 1997, at approximately 1850 hours, while in the vicinity of 7240 S. Mozart, Police Officer Rodriguez, while off duty, committed the offense of aggravated battery with a firearm, to wit: Officer Rodriguez unlawfully shot his wife, Irma Rodriguez with his firearm during a domestic dispute, thereby violating 720 ILCS 5/12-4.2(A)(1).
