On or about June, 1995, and continuing through about December, 1995, on one or more occasions, Police Officer Aaron Gibson committed the offense of Official Misconduct, in that he, a public employee, in his official capacity, knowingly obtained by deception merchandise from Montgomery Wards, Carson Pirie Scott, the Baby's Room Opportunity Line, Saks Fifth Avenue, Sears, Kohls, Zales jewelers, and/or Wickes, intending to deprive the owner permanently of the use or benefit of the property, in violation of 720 ILCS, section 5/33-3.

On or about June, 1995, and continuing to on or about December, 1995, on one or more occasions, Police Officer Aaron Gibson committed Theft in that he knowingly obtained by deception, control over property, intending to deeprive the owner permanently of the use and benfit of the property, by knowingly creating or confirming a false eimpression, said false impression being that he and/or Darryl Mayfield was Criag E. Burton, and obtaining credit in Craig E. Burton's name from stores including, but not limited to: Saks Fifth Avenue, Sears, Kohls, Montgomery Wards, Carson Pirie Scott, Baby's Room Opportunity Line, Wickes, Builders Square and/or Zales Jewelers, thereby violating Chapter 720 ILCS 5/16-1(a).

On or about June, 1995, and continuing to on or about December, 1995, on one or more occasions, Police Officer Aaron Gibson committed Theft in that he knowingly obtained unauthorized control over property, to wit merchandise from stores including but not limited to: Builders Square, Montgomery Wards, Carson Pirie Scott, and the Baby's Room Opportunity Line, Saks Fifth Avenue, Sears, Kohls, Zales Jewelers, and/or Wickes, intending to deprive the owner permanently of the use of said property, thereby violating Chapter 720 ILCS 5/16-1(a).

On or about March 27, 1995 and April 3, 1995, on one or more occasions, Police Officer Aaron Gibson committed the offense of Official Misconduct, in that he, a public employee, in his official capacity, prepared false Illinois Traffic Crash reports and provided false information to an insurance company that his vehicle was struck by Tony Jackson (a.k.a. Darryl Mayfield) at 3307 W. Lexington, Chicago, in an effort to defraud his insurance company, in violation of 720 ILCS, section 5/33-3.

On or about November, 1995, and continuing to on or about December, 1995, on one or more occasions, Police Officer Aaron Gibson committed Theft in that he knowingly obtained by deception, control over property, intending to deprive the owner permanently of the use and benefit of the property, by knowingly creating or confirming a false impression, said false impression being that he and/or Darryl Mayfield was Craig E. Burton, and obtaining credit in Craig E. Burton's name from stores including, but not limited to: Saks Fifth Avenue, Sears, Kohls, Montgomery Wards, Carson Pirie Scott, Baby's Room Opportunity Line, Wickes, Builders Square and/or Zales Jeweler, thereby violating Chapter 720 ILCS 5/16-1(a).

On or about June, 1995, and continuing through about December, 1995, on one or more occasions, Police Officer Aaron Gibson committed the offense of Official Misconduct, in that he, a public employee, in his official capacity, provided information including false traffic citations and personal information, to Darryl Mayfield and/or retail stores including, but not limited to Builders Square, Montgomery Wards, Carson Pirie Scott, the Jewelers, and/or Wickes, in an effort to procure fraudulent identification and credit in the names of individiduals including Chicago Police Officers Kenneth Morris, Craig Burton, Christopher Hogan, and civilian Leonard Moore in violation of 720 ILCS, section 5/33-3.

On or about June, 1995, and continuing through about December, 1995, on one or more occasions, Police Officer Aaron Gibson committed the offense of Official Misconduct, in that he, a public employee, in his official capacity, provided information, including false traffic citations and personal information to Darryl Mayfield and/or to retail stores including, but not limited to Builders Square, Montgomery Wards, Carson Pirie Scott, the Baby's Room Opportunity Line, Saks Fifth Avenue, Sears, Kohls, Zales Jewelers, and/or Wickes, in order to unlawfully procure merchandise, in violation of 720 ILCS, section 5/33-3.

On or about June, 1995, and continuing to on or about December, 1995, on one or more occasions, Police Officer Aaron Gibson committed the offense of Official Misconduct, in that he, a public employee, in his official capacity, provided false information to an insurance company and/or Darryl Mayfield, including false case reports and/or fictitious traffic citations, in an effort to defraud an insurance company, in violation of 720 ILCS< section 5/33-3.

Between September 1995 and continuing about December, 1995, on one or more occasions, Police Officer Aaron Gibson committed Forgery to wit: with intent to defraud, he knowingly made or altered any document apparently capable of defrauding another, in that he prepared fictitious traffic citations, which purported to be written by another police officer, including Traffic Citations T5-280-787, T5-280-788, T5-280-790, and T5-280-791, thereby violating Chapter 720 ILCS 5/17-3(a).

On or about March 27, 1995 and April 3, 1995, on one or more occasions, Police Officer Aaron Gibson committed Insurance Fraud, in that he prepared false Illinois Traffic Crash reports and provided false information to an insurance company that his vehicle was struck by Tony Jackson (a.k.a. Darryl Mayfield) at 3307 W. Lexington, Chicago, in an effort to defraud his insurance company, in violation of United States Code, Title 18, Section 1341, and 720 ILCS 5/46-1.

Between September, 1995 and December 14, 1995, Police Officer Aaron Gibson committed Theft in that he knowingly obtained unauthorized control over property, to wit: Chicago Police Department citations numbered T5-280-780 through T5-290-799, which had been issued to Officer Anna Fox, intending to deprive the owner permanently of the use and benefit of the property, thereby violating 720 ILCS 5/16-1(a).
