George Wilson

On June 13, 1998, at or near 2800 North Harlem Avenue, Officer Wilson, after striking Sofia Latuszkin with his vehicle and causing her serious personal injury, failed to render her reasonable assistance and failed to report the motor vehicle accident to the police, thereby violating Chapter 625 ILCS 5/11-403;

On June 13, 1998, Officer Wilson, after striking and killing Sofia Latuszkin with his vehicle, at or near 2800 North Harlem Avenue, failed to remain at the scene of the accident, thereby violating Chapter 625 ILCS 5/11-401(a);

On June 13, 1998, Officer Wilson committed aggravated reckless driving, when, at or near 1800 North Harlem Avenue, he drove his vehicle with a willful or wanton disregard for the safety of persons, including Sofia Latuskin, causing her death, when he drove while under the influence of alcohol, at a greater-than-reasonable speed, and failed to observe a pedestrian in or near the roadway; in violation of Chapter 625 ILCS 5/11-503(c);

On June 13, 1998, Officer Wilson committed aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol when he drove his vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and was involved in a motor vehicle accident which proximately resulted in the death of Sofia Latuszkin, in violation of Chapter 625 ILCS 11-501 (d)(1)(C);

On June 13, 1998, Officer Wilson committed the offense of reckless homicide, in that he unintentionally but without lawful justification killed Sofia Latuszkin while operating his motor vehicle in a reckless manner at or near 2800 North harlem Avenue, where he was under the influence of alcohol, drove at a speed which was greater than reasonable, failed to obseerve a pedestrian in or near the roadway, and swerved when it was not necessary, thus striking Sofia Latuszkin and causing her death, in violation of Chapter 720 ILCS 5/9-3;
