Count 1 On or around September 30, 2017, Officer Ernesto Guzman-Sanchez intentionally sent or spread a nude/partially nude photograph of a former romantic and/or sexual partner who was at least 18 years of age, via Facebook and/or Facebook Messenger. The former partner was identifiable from the nude/partially nude photograph. The photograph was sent to redacted Facebook/ Facebook Messenger users, without their consent.
Rule 2	4 counts	Any action or conduct which impedes the Department's efforts to achieve its policy and goals or brings discredit upon the Department. Count 1 On or around September 30, 2017, Officer Ernesto Guzman-Sanchez intentionally sent or spread a nude/partially nude photograph of a former romantic and/or sexual partner who was at least 18 years of age, via Facebook and/or Facebook Messenger. The former partner was identifiable from the nude/partially nude photograph. The photograph was sent to redacted Facebook/ Facebook Messenger users, without their consent. Count 2 In or around the months of September and October 2017, Officer Ernesto Guzman-Sanchez harassed a former romantic and/or sexual partner via phone calls and text messages repeatedly. Count 3 On one or more dates in the month of February 2017, around the dates of February 6, 13, 16, and/or 18, 2017, Officer Ernesto Guzman-Sanchez threatened to spread and/or share and/or publicly display a nude/partially nude photograph of a redacted former romantic and/or sexual partner. Count 4 On or around the date of October 16, 2018 and/or around the date of July 14, 2020 at the office of the Civilian Office of Police Accountability (or "COPA") which is located near 1615 W. Chicago Avenue in Chicago, Illinois. At this office, Police Officer Ernesto Guzman-Sanchez Provided false and/or misleading information to the office of the COPA. The false and/or misleading information being in him denying him being familiar with a redacted telephone number, and/or knowing a redacted name, and/or ever creating a fake Facebook account, and/or him sending a redacted name a nude photo of a redacted person.
Rule 8	3 counts	Disrespect to or maltreatment of any person, while on or off duty. Count 1 On or around September 30, 2017, Officer Ernesto Guzman-Sanchez intentionally sent or spread a nude/partially nude photograph of a former romantic and/or sexual partner who was at least 18 years of age, via Facebook and/or Facebook Messenger. The former partner was identifiable from the nude/partially nude photograph. The photograph was sent to redacted Facebook/ Facebook Messenger users, without their consent. Count 2 In or around the months of September and October 2017, Officer Ernesto Guzman-Sanchez harassed a former romantic and/or sexual partner via phone calls and text messages repeatedly. Count 3 On one or more dates in the month of February 2017, around the dates of February 6, 13, 16, and/or 18, 2017, Officer Ernesto Guzman-Sanchez threatened to spread and/or share and/or publicly display a nude/partially nude photograph of a redacted former romantic and/or sexual partner.

Count 1 In or around the months of September and October 2017, Officer Ernesto Guzman-Sanchez harassed a former romantic and/or sexual partner via phone calls and text messages repeatedly. Count 2 On one or more dates in the month of February 2017, around the dates of February 6, 13, 16, and/or 18, 2017, Officer Ernesto Guzman-Sanchez threatened to spread and/or share and/or publicly display a nude/partially nude photograph of a redacted former romantic and/or sexual partner.
Rule 14	1 count	Making a false report, written or oral. Count 1 On or around the date of October 16, 2018 and/or around the date of July 14, 2020 at the office of the Civilian Office of Police Accountability (or "COPA") which is located near 1615 W. Chicago Avenue in Chicago, Illinois. At this office, Police Officer Ernesto Guzman-Sanchez Provided false and/or misleading information to the office of the COPA. For the settlement of this case the terms of it included the fact of Police Officer Ernesto Guzman-Sanchez accepting and agreeing that he did in fact violate Rules 2, 8, and 9 and suspension without pay for up to one year. The Police Board accepted the settlement and Police Officer Ernesto Guzman-Sanchez was suspended from his position without pay from the dates of April 5, 2022 to April, 4 2023 and the processing that were before the Police Board were terminated. This Order is entered by a majority of the members of the Police Board, their names follow.
