Count 1 During the pre-employment processing for the position of Crossing Guard with the Chicago Police Department prior to her date of hire on or about August 15, 2000, Ms. Lumpkins was asked if she ever had been interviewed by, and/or had any involvement with police regarding a criminal matter but failed to disclose that on or about February 28, 2000 she had been arrested by the Arlington Heights Police Department and charged with Attempt Theft, thereby impeding the Department's efforts to achieve its policy and goals and/or bringing discredit upon the Department.
